Frequently Asked Questions
Are there limitations with Wholegarment KNitting?
WholeGarment knitting technology is incredibly versatile and virtually all fully-fashioned sweaters can be knit on our machines. We produce a range of products including: sweaters, cardigans, tops, dresses, blazers, beanies, scarves, and knit ties.
Is on-demand a full package service?
Yes. Our on-demand service eliminates the need for you to stock inventory. We handle yarn sourcing, knitting, finishing, packing, and shipping. The only items we need are your labels, packing materials and instructions.
What Yarns do you run?
Merino Wool, Cashmere, Cotton, Viscose, Tencile, Recycled fibers, and many more.
what is 3d knitting?
3D knitting is the process by which knitwear is made on a machine that knits the entire garment all at once, without the need to stitch pieces together from patterns or rolls of fabric. Yarn is inserted into the machine, and a whole garment that requires minimal finishing is the end result.
What is the leadtime for sampling?
Catalog Styles: When selecting a style from our catalog and making adjustments, the process typically takes 1-2 weeks.
Custom Styles: When submitting a tech pack and yarn the development process typically takes about 3-4 weeks.
Do you do Linking?
No. At the moment, we do not provide linking services. All of our products are made entirely on our WholeGarment knitting machines. If you have a project that requires linking, let us know and we may be able to point you in the right direction.
